Mayan Dude Ranch

Located 47 miles northwest of San Antonio, high in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas, Mayan Dude Ranch is a wonderful world of fantastic western warmth and special brand of "Horsepitality." A typical day at the ranch includes a Cowboy Breakfast followed by a morning trail ride into the hills or down to the lush cool Medina riverside. Lunch is served either poolside or in the dining room. The new Cowboy Dome Pavilion located right next to the pool invites you to enjoy a cool drink, listen to some good old Country-Western music or just get out of the sun and relax with new-found friends. After lunch it's more horseback riding, swimming, joining in on various activities/contests, sunning, snoozing, or simply enjoying the peaceful tranquility of the Medina River. Each night the Mayan Dude Ranch has its own brand of fun and food from barbecues at the Riverside Gazebo to Texas-sized steak at Hicksville (a little western town). A country dance, variety show, bingo, play, and more round out each evening. Mayan Dude Ranch also features roping, fishing, shooting, tennis, volleyball, ping pong, shuffleboard, nature trails, authentic dinosaur tracks, and more. RANCH PACKAGE INCLUSIONS: Lodging, three (3) meals per day (only brunch and supper from June to mid-August), horseback riding (no riding on Sundays from June to mid-August), daily activities, use of amenities, nightly entertainment, and complimentary beer, wine and sodas until 10:00 p.m.
